A story which appeared in
MediaDailyNews Jan. 27, 2009, titled "Mag Redesigns Don't Correlate With Bigger Circ, Ad Numbers," incorrectly stated that the recently announced redesign of
Ladies' Home Journal was a response to the economic downturn. It was, in fact, in response to a magazine survey conducted by its editor-in-chief Sally Lee. The article also incorrectly stated
the
LHJ feature "Anatomy of a Splurge" was being revamped; it will no longer appear in the magazine.
