Glam Adapts, Acquires Display Ad Server To Power Self-Serve System

Vertical women's lifestyle network Glam Media this morning announced the acquisition of AdaptiveAds, a venture-backed display ad targeting and optimization company based in San Francisco and Mumbai, India, that will create a self-serve brand advertising and ad serving system that Glam describes as being similar to keyword search-based ad placement systems like Google's AdWords. AdaptiveAds will be renamed GlamAdapt, and the new system has been dubbed GlamAdapt BrandWords.
