  • Toyota Makes Management Changes

    Bob Carter, group VP/GM of Toyota's Lexus division, will become group VP/GM of the Toyota division, filling the position held by Jim Lentz before his promotion to EVP of TMS last year. Carter will be responsible for all sales, marketing and customer satisfaction activities for the Toyota division and Scion. He continues to report to Don Esmond, SVP/automotive operations. Carter, who joined Toyota in 1981, has worked in many regional positions prior to helming Lexus. He was GM of Toyota's Denver region and GM of Lexus' Eastern area.
