  • Online Radio Listening Still on the Rise

    According to a new report by MeasureCast Inc., the total number of hours streamed by web radio stations rose during the week of Aug. 5. The MeasureCast Internet Radio Listening Index for the week of Aug. 5 - 11 rose 3% making this the first index increase since July 14. Since Jan. 6, 2002, the total time spent listening to Web radio stations measured by MeasureCast is up 136%. The index is a representation of the trend in the total time spent listening (TTSL) to a spectrum of online radio stations monitored by MeasureCast.   • BPA Certifies Burst! Again

    Advertising provider BURST! Media announced that BPA International has awarded it system certification for the third consecutive year. Certification means that BURST!’s data tracking, data processes and systems are in accordance with auditing standards. BURST! Said it was the only online ad network to have received BPA certification. “BURST!
