    DoubleClick Inc. today announced an exclusive U.S.-based ad management and media planning agreement with Universal McCann, one of the world's largest media services companies.   • UPN Picks Up Twilight Zone For Full Season

    Following on the success of versions of two science-fiction classics, UPN has ordered a full season of The Twilight Zone. The Twilight Zone, which premiered Sept. 18 on Wednesday nights, is being considered as a “companion series” to Star Trek. The Twilight Zone has an average retention of 73% of Enterprise’s total viewers and 74% of Enterprise’s household ratings. “By pairing it with Enterprise, UPN has created a solid night of out-of-this-world programming,” said UPN Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff. ...Read the whole story

  • Bochco Plans Futuristic Cop Drama

    A new TV series planned by Hill Street Blues creator Steven Bochco will combine the contemporary police drama with time travel. “NYPD 2069” follows the life of a New York City detective who is transported in 2003 66 years into the future. The pilot episode will be directed by “Hart’s War” director Gregory Hoblit.
