Horizon Media announced that STACEY MIZRACH has been promoted to assistant manager of the Local Broadcast Promotions Group, JAMIE BRATSLAVSKY joined the group as a promotions coordinator, KATIE GALLAGHER joined the Los Angeles office as an account executive and ANDRE ALFA joined the Los Angeles office as an assistant account executive.
AKQA has hired ANDREW O'DELL as senior vice president. In this role, O'Dell is responsible for expanding AKQA's interactive advertising, Web development, and integrated marketing practice areas. Prior to joining AKQA, O’Dell spent four years as vice president of business development for Carat. Prior to that, he was a founder of Lot21, a digital marketing, media, and advertising agency.
JANE WALSH has joined directDeutsch as senior vice president, creative director. She will be working on all directDeutsch accounts, including the recently awarded Monster business, Johnson & Johnson and Novartis. Walsh had previously been group creative director at Wunderman.
PROMAX&BDA has created another new executive position, naming SUZANNE MARIE GUTIERREZ as the organization's executive vice president of corporate relations worldwide. Gutierrez joins PROMAX&BDA from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
CAROL FLETCHER has been named vice president, media planning director for The Buntin Group. Prior to joining, Fletcher spent 14 years in media planning with Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago working with international clients including Kraft, Hallmark, Pillsbury, Altoids, and Motorola. Her most recent position at the agency was vice president, strategy director.
Adlink has hired BROCK PALMER to join SportsLink L.A., a division of Adlink, as account executive. In this position, he will provide clients customized marketing solutions across Adlink's sports-dedicated networks. In addition, Palmer will also be responsible for growing the client base. Before joining Adlink, Palmer was an account executive at Infinity Radio, Los Angeles, responsible for Dodger radio ad sales on KFWB 980 AM.
Also at Adlink, RICK OSTER has been promoted to executive vice president, general sales manager. Oster was promoted from vice president and general sales manager. Oster joined Adlink as local sales manager in September 2002 and was promoted to vice president and general sales manager in 2003.
DAN MERRIFIELD has been promoted to sales manager for Turner Entertainment Sales. In his new position, Merrifield is responsible for one of the New York teams overseeing ad sales for TNT and TBS networks. Merrifield joined Turner Broadcasting in 1998 as an account executive for Turner Entertainment Sales. Prior to joining Turner Broadcasting, Merrifield served as an account executive at WGN Cable in New York.
Nielsen Ventures announced that ROBIN DALLY has been appointed as vice president of sales and marketing for Nielsen Sports. In this new position, Dally will be in charge of marketing Nielsen Sport’s new service: Sponsorship Scorecard. Dally joins Nielsen Ventures from the National Football League where she most recently served as director, global sponsorships for NFL International.
Full-service interactive marketing agency and consultancy, ANNODYNE iNTERACTIVE, has named TED SWAIN as market manager. Swain will assist in leading the firm's market relations and interfacing with key clients. Prior to joining the company, Swain led marketing efforts at IDP Inc.
Rapp Collins Worldwide has promoted ANNE MARIE SCHILLER to the new position of managing director in its Los Angeles office. Schiller will oversee all management, operations, and client services for the office. She was previously senior vice president, relationship manager, running strategic acquisition, loyalty, and customer management programs on behalf of current clients such as DirecTV, MCI, Philips Sonicare and others.

Sawyer Riley Compton has promoted PENNY KEMP to vice president/director of account management. In her new role, Kemp is responsible for leading the company’s team of account managers through various project initiatives.
Sporting News announced that JASON GOODRICH has joined the company as senior marketing director and KEITH STOLER has joined as marketing director. Goodrich joins Sporting News from the George P. Johnson Co., where he worked for the last several years as a senior marketing strategist on the IBM account. Stoler joins Sporting News after working as a senior manager in Clear Channel Entertainment’s Marketing and Creative Development Group where he created integrated programs for Coors, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Coca-Cola, among others.
ePrize has promoted IVAN FRANK to senior vice president of strategy and JACKIE TREPANIER to senior vice president of fulfillment services. Most recently Frank served as the head of business development for ePrize's Los Angeles office. Trepanier will be responsible for leading the prize fulfillment team, which handles winner concerns, user issues, and registering. Trepanier served previously as a senior project manager, where she led complex promotions including the palmOne Pays Back Program.
LLKFB announced that J. ROBERT LIEBER, chairman and CEO, will be leaving the agency to start his own business. His responsibilities will be assumed by LOREEN BABCOCK, president, and HARRY KOENIG, COO, both are two of LLKFB’s original partners.

KEVIN KRITCH was named vice president of operations for Shop At Home Network in Nashville, Tenn. ANNA ALVORD, a five-year veteran of Scripps Networks, has been promoted to director of international development for Scripps Networks. Previously she was a manager in the international development group. DOUG GEORGE and JOHN CENICEROS were named regional account directors of affiliate ad sales. Lastly, LAURA SILLARS has joined Home & Garden Television as its director of program production, where she will supervise the production of several popular network series and upcoming holiday specials.
Also at Scripps, JANET MANTEL has been named vice president of interactive sales - Eastern division for Scripps Networks. Mantel is responsible for interactive advertising sales and business development for company's online, broadband, and video on demand (VOD) properties. Mantel also will manage syndicated broadband and VOD business partnerships for Scripps Networks. Mantel joined Food Network in 1998 as director of ad sales and business development for Foodnetwork.com.
ELENA ROHWEDER TURNER has been named senior marketing manager for Capital One Auto Finance. Turner will manage the company's pre-approval direct marketing campaigns and research.

Viamedia announced that JOHN MILLER has joined as general manager for the Washington D.C. market. Miller comes to Viamedia from Comcast Spotlight where he served as director of sales for Washington DC. In addition to his tenure with Comcast Spotlight, Miller also held cable sales management positions for TCI Media Services.
PAM O’BRIEN has been named articles director for Organic Style. O’Brien joins the magazine from Lifetime, where she served as executive editor since the launch of the title in 2002. Prior to that, she was the executive editor of Ladies’ Home Journal.
