  • Comcast Spotlight, the ad sales division of Comcast Cable, has named PHILLIP WOODIE director of multicultural sales. He will lead the company's efforts to help advertisers utilize spot cable to target multicultural markets. Woodie most recently served as president of sales and marketing at Azteca America, where he was responsible for the launch and development of the sales and marketing office of the new Spanish-language network.

  • The FeedRoom has promoted BART FEDER to president and chief executive officer. Since June of 2000, Feder served as senior vice president and general manager. Feder succeeds former CEO and founder JON KLEIN who joined CNN as president of U.S. Operations. Klein will continue on as a member of The FeedRoom's board of directors.

  • Deutsch Inc. has launched Yellow Fin Premedia to provide a full range of print and integrated graphics production services for Deutsch clients. ROBB DEFILIPPIS, senior vice president, director of print services at Deutsch, will head the unit.

  • In Touch Weekly has added four executives to its publishing staff. GEOFFREY MARESCA has been appointed as associate publisher and SHELLEY FARIELLO, ESTEE CROSS, and NANCY PAULLIN join the magazine as account managers for the Los Angeles, New York, and Midwest markets respectively.

  • Reprise Media, a search engine marketing firm, has named KEVIN GOTTESMAN West Coast sales manager and PATRICK HARRIS as East Coast sales manager. Gottesman previously held positions at 24/7 Media, CMP Media, Sony Music, and eGroups. Harris joins Reprise Media from Ask Jeeves, where he served as regional sales manager since 1999.

  • St. John & Partners added ASHLEY MILES and BLAKE IVIE as assistant media planners. Miles will support media services for the Zaxby’s account, and Ivie will support media services for the agency’s Convergys, Brown Terrell Hogan, Clearwire, and Cornerstone accounts.

  • icrossing has named JOE LICARI East Coast director of sales. Licari was formally the East Coast director of sales for Performics.

  • Hollywood Media Corp. (HOLL) has promoted JEFF BANDER to vice president of ad sales. Bander is responsible for interactive advertising sales on all of HOLL's Web sites and ad sales for HOLL's interactive cable television network, Hollywood.com Television. Bander joined HOLL in July as vice president of ad sales for Broadway.com.

  • JORDAN HARRIS was named director, sales and marketing for the Syndicated Network Television Association. Harris had been senior vice president, group director at MediaCom since July 2003. While there, Harris was responsible for media planning for a variety of ConAgra Foods brands including Butterball, Hebrew National, Reddi-wip, Egg Beaters, Banquet, Orville Redenbacher’s and Slim Jim.

  • BOB WINDING has joined Better Life Media as vice president of sales and general manager of Better Life On Demand’s hotel division.

  • Channel One News has named BARBARA BEKKEDAHL senior vice president, sales and marketing. Bekkedahl joins Channel One News from Paramus, N.J.-based AudioAudit, a media verification company, where she served as regional sales manager.

  • Marketing Management Analytics has made numerous hires to support its “Marketing Effectiveness on Demand” initiative. WING PEPPER was hired as senior vice president account service; DAVID SKINNER was named vice president development; MYONG LEE has been named vice president account and consulting; PAUL DAVIS was hired as director analytic development; and DOUGLAS BROOKS was named director development.

  • SFGT, Philadelphia, has hired ALISON CHRISTMANN as account supervisor and CALEB OBERST as assistant account executive. Christmann will handle University of Pennsylvania Health System and American Education Services. Oberst will work on the Sunoco and Philadelphia International Auto Show accounts. Christmann was most recently account supervisor at Kanter International, Philadelphia.

  • PRIMEDIA’s Performance Automotive Group has named K. RANDALL BALL, editor-in-chief of Hot Bike magazine. Ball will also assume the role of editorial director for Hot Bike, Hot Rod Bikes and Street Chopper magazines. Ball recently served as editor/editorial director of Easyriders magazine.

  • iKnowtion, a marketing and analytic consultancy, has promoted MARCY RIORDAN to vice president of consulting services. In this role, Riordan will be responsible for deepening the company’s relationship with its largest customer, General Motors. Before joining iKnowtion, Riordan served as an analytic director at Epsilon.

  • PRIMEDIA Enterprises promoted several employees. ERIN MORRIS, previously director licensing, has been promoted to senior director marketing and retail development; ERIC GOLDMAN moved from senior manager, licensing to an expanded role as director, licensing; HOLLY ROYER was promoted to director operations from senior manager operations and finance, responsible for the division’s operational and financial management; and DAN CARELLA joins PRIMEDIA Enterprises as senior manager, licensing responsible for the licensing initiatives for Hot Rod magazine and the company’s outdoor titles including In-Fisherman and Guns & Ammo, and action sports titles including Surfing and Slam.

  • Globescan Inc., a global public opinion and stakeholder research company, has hired DENNIS R. ISRAEL as vice-president. Most recently, Israel was director of media management and consulting at InterMedia Survey Institute - Washington D.C.

  • SCOTT W. LEE, former director of production services for Rivr Media Studios, is leaving after two years at the helm.
