  • Captivate Network has appointed JIM FARRELL to vice president of sales, Eastern region. Prior to joining Captivate, Jim served as director of sales for Tribune Media Net, the ad sales unit of Tribune Co. 

  • Mullen has promoted two executives to positions that are new for the company: ERIC HEALY is now senior vice president, director of Mullen Interactive, while JIM SCHWANTNER is senior vice president, director of direct and analytics marketing for Mullen Direct. Also, CATHERINE BARTHOLOW, Mullen’s director of customer relationship marketing, is taking on a new role with the company, developing the direct and interactive practice groups in the agency’s Winston-Salem office.

  • ID Media has promoted JOSH MARTIN to lead a new practice at the company as director of emerging media, working to identify, evaluate, and promote emerging media. Martin has served as an account director on American Express, an account he will continue to oversee in addition to his new responsibilities.  

  • MEREDITH DIAMOND joins Horizon's local television department in New York as a broadcast group manager, while SHARON SENNEFELDER becomes part of Horizon's print services department as a print supervisor, ELISA CAMPBELL joins as a media planner, and NICOLE NAPOLI as an account executive. In two promotions, BEAU SUTTON becomes broadcast group manager in Horizon's New York Local Television department, up from senior buyer, while KATE MONAGHAN has been promoted to senior buyer of national broadcast, up from national broadcast buyer.    

  • JAMES L. MOTRINEC has been named senior account executive of ProCirc, the circulation management arm of DJG Marketing, which does complete circulation management for such magazines as Weight Watchers, New York and Scientific American. Motrinec was most recently the consumer marketing director of Outside magazine.

  • Glam Media, Inc., the women's fashion and entertainment Web network, hired SCOTT SCHILLER as senior vice president and chief revenue officer. Most recently, Schiller was senior vice president at Not Traditional Media, Inc. He also held key executive positions at AOL, the Walt Disney Internet Group, and Prodigy, and launched Sony Online Entertainment.

  • TOM QUINN has joined lead generation provider Opt-Intelligence, Inc. as director of finance. Quinn was formerly director of accounting for women’s content portal iVillage.

  • Conductor has promoted JOSH KREITZMAN to producer, responsible for creative development for several new and existing clients by helping develop and distribute original content across all relevant channels.

  • ML Rogers New York has recruited ERIC STEINHAUSER to take over as executive creative director. Previously, Steinhauser was executive vice president/executive creative director at J. Walter Thompson, New York, managing, among other accounts, Merrill Lynch, Novell, Domino’s, Lipton and Kraft.

  • Starcom USA, a full-service media agency within Starcom MediaVest Group, has promoted ROB DAVIS to senior vice president of the agency. Davis provides strategic direction to Starcom’s Disney media strategy and investment groups, and leads the Applebees AOR account.

  • SCOTT WESTERGREN has recently joined Paul Schultz Advertising, Louisville, Ky., as director of media services. Previously, he was group media director at Fogarty Klein Monroe, Houston.

  • JANA MARWILL has joined Springbox as a designer, working on Web sites and online advertising. She was previously employed at T3 and at living.com as a production artist and digital retoucher. RICH WESTON has joined Springbox as a senior developer. He was previously at Dell as a senior developer within the Dell.com content publishing and e-commerce applications teams. 

  • SpecificMEDIA has opened a regional office in downtown Chicago. PERRY NUSBAUM, SpecificMEDIA’s current vice president of eastern U.S. sales, will lead the efforts to staff and scale the Chicago operation. ROBERT ZAMZOW has been hired as the market’s first senior account executive.

  • FOX has hired ERICA KEANE as vice president, media relations for FOX Television Stations. In this role, Keane will oversee all public relations functions for the 35 FOX-owned and operated stations as well as the soon to be launched MYNetwork TV

  • DAN MAUCH has joined Centro as vice president-sales for the Western region.  Formerly vice president of sales for Napster, Mauch will be based in Los Angeles.  He brings more than 19 years of advertising sales experience, including a stint as national sales director at UsaToday.com.

  • CHRIS JOHNSTON has joined Email Data Source as vice president of products.  He previously headed the product development team at Viewpoint.

  • Corbis

    Corbis has appointed ROSS SUTHERLAND to the newly created position of chief creative officer. Sutherland, who has won numerous awards for his print advertising, had until recently been executive creative director-managing partner at Young & Rubicam New York. Sutherland will oversee the company's sourcing of creative imagery on a global basis. He will also manage a global creative team which includes production and photography from Corbis and its wholly owned companies zefa and Image 100.
