  • DANIEL M. RIOUX has been named senior vice president and MICHELE S. GAGE, KENDRA M. KRAWCHUK, BRETT E. MILLER, DAVID S. MUNSON, DAVID PAXTON, ANDREA E. PLAWCHAN, RICK E. RATLIFF and MARTHA TORRE CARTER have been named vice presidents at Campbell-Ewald.

  • IAG Research has named TERESE HERBIG as senior vice president, consumer packaged-goods. Herbig will be responsible for growing and developing IAG's relationships among key consumer packaged-goods manufacturers and spearheading the company's Chicago office. Most recently, she was chief marketing officer for Information Resources.

  • MARK CANON has been named chief product officer at Autobytel. Canon previously served as vice president of product development for AOL Search where he was responsible for overall product strategy and development of products.

  • COLLEEN KASSNER was named account manager, Popular Science. Kassner will be responsible for the continued growth in the consumer electronics and pharmaceutical categories, as well as the management of the New England territory. JOHN R. CAMPBELL was named account manager, responsible for the management of an array of New York based accounts.

  • Meredith Corporation has named DENISE BRODEY as editor-in-chief of Fitness magazine. Brodey joins Fitness from More magazine, where she had served as special projects editor.

  • BRIAN QUINN was named vice president of advertising sales and marketing and will oversee all sales efforts for Dow Jones Online, which includes WSJ.com, MarketWatch.com and Barron's Online. Earlier this year, Quinn was promoted to vice president and national sales manager and previously served as director of Eastern and Midwest advertising sales for Dow Jones Online. KEN DETLET was named executive director, sales operations for Dow Jones Online, up from director. DANIEL BERNARD joined the company as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Bernard was global head of advertising development and product design for Reuters Consumer Media.

  • Mediaedge:cia has named RENEE MILLIARESSIS managing partner, account director to lead MEC’s communications planning team for agency client Colgate-Palmolive.

  • Intercept Interactive has launched Intercept, a full service interactive advertising agency to be helmed by ED KELLY, vice president/managing director. Kelly has held senior level interactive and integrated marketing positions at BBDO, Answerthink, McCann Worldgroup, EURO RSCG and Grey Worldwide.

  • GREG GOYNE has joined Firehouse as principal. In this role, Goyne will lead the account management group and have senior responsibility for leading the development of branding strategies and marketing campaigns for Firehouse clients. Prior to joining Firehouse, Goyne was a principal at The Richards Group.

  • JULIE ROTH NOVACK has joined Avenue A | Razorfish as the general manager of the Chicago office. Most recently, she served as executive vice president of corporate strategy, sales and marketing for Agency.com.

  • CHRISTOPHER BRUSH has joined ESPN as vice president of marketing for Mobile ESPN. Brush will focus on the marketing and advertising efforts of the company’s mobile businesses. Prior to joining ESPN, Brush worked for DIRECTV as vice president of marketing, responsible for managing all customer marketing campaigns for sports packages, movie services, pay-per-view, basic networks, publishing and sponsorships.

  • The Concept Farm’s co-founder and senior partner, HANK WASIAK, was named to the board of the American Heart Association’s Heritage Affiliate.

  • DAVE FAUSEL has been promoted to group account director at kirshenbaum bond + partners and AMY EAGLE joined the agency as a group account director.  Previously she was SVP, director of communications planning at Carat USA in NYC.

  • KELLY MCCLOSKEY has joined dotglu as an account executive; STEVE COSSU has joined dotglu as a producer; and FARAZ FAROOQ joined the company as an application developer. 

  • MEGAN LARKIN and COURTNEY DONALDSON have joined The Media Kitchen as associate media strategists and JEANNIE CHU and NICOLE SIEFERT were named media strategists.

  • JENNIFER LANDERS has been promoted to group account director at LIME public relations + promotion; ANNE GIARITTA has been promoted to account director; and RACHEL WIESE has been promoted to account manager.   • Karacters Design Group has hired ERICK NIELSEN as associate creative director of the Toronto office.

  • DAVID MORGAN has been named president, Asia Pacific (APAC) at Universal McCann. Morgan joins the agency from Mediaedge:cia, where he was CEO Asia Pacific. Morgan began his career in London, where he first worked at BBJ Media. In 1995, he joined J Walter Thompson in Shanghai as media director, moving to MindShare as general manager, Hong Kong and Japan, until 2000.

  • SFGT has named JEDD DAVIS director, media strategies. He will focus on the integration of traditional and online media strategies, and on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of emerging media platforms. Previously, Davis was group director, analytics and productivity at OMD, Los Angeles, on the Nissan and Infiniti accounts.

  • ReelzChannel has tapped cable ad sales veteran AYMON DEMAURO to lead its ad sales department as senior vice president, advertising sales. DeMauro most recently served as vice president, advertising sales at ESPN/ABC sports customer marketing and sales.

  • World Marketing has named JEFF THIES vice president of marketing. Thies spent thirteen years with AMS Response, most recently as vice president, marketing.

  • AMBER SMITH has been promoted to director of campaign management at MoreVisibility. Smith joined the company in 2005 as a client tactician.

  • Mansueto Ventures, publisher of Fast Company and Inc. has named PATRICK HAINAULT consumer marketing director of both titles. Wallunas joins Empower from Nielsen BuzzMetrics, where he was an account manager and senior research analyst.

  • WhitePages.com has named JOHN JORDAN vice president, business development. Previously, Jordan served as director, business development at MSN where he was responsible for planning and executing strategic partnerships that included MSN services distribution via PC manufacturers including Hewlett Packard and interactive content distribution in MSN Messenger.

  • United Online has hired JEREMY HELFAND as executive vice president and chief sales officer, a newly created position. Helfand most recently was the senior vice president and general manager of Advertising.com.
