  • Rachel Pasqua

    MEC hired Rachel Pasqua as head of mobile for MEC North America. She will report to Susan Schiekofer, president, digital, MEC North America. Pasqua has worked in digital media for fifteen years, eleven of those with a specialty in Mobile Marketing. She most recently served as vice president, mobile at iCrossing, where she founded and managed the emerging media group, creating mobile solutions for clients such as Toyota, Kia, Hilton, LG, TD Bank, BCBS, Hearst Magazines and Hearst Newspapers. Prior to that, she ran the Emerging Media Lab at Organic as executive director of mobile and was a co-founder of Token Digital, a product-focused strategic design agency.

    CP+B promoted Danielle Whalen to managing director of the agency's Boulder office and Carter Nance to managing director of the Miami office. Whalen and Nance join Mason Reed, managing director of the Los Angeles office in overseeing the US offices. Whalen joined CP+B in 2004 to help oversee the Burger King business. Since that time, she's worked on BK's Subservient Chicken, The Burger King 'King' campaign, Whopper Freakout and the Old Navy SuperModelquins. Named an executive vice president in 2012, she currently runs the Applebee's and Fruit of the Loom accounts. Nance joined CP+B in 1999 and during his tenure at CP+B, he has managed relationships with Sprite, Molson, Maxim and Coke Zero, a brand he helped launch. Named an executive vice president in 2012, he currently oversees Coca-Cola's Vitamin Water and Domino's Pizza.

    Mindshare hired Joan Colletta-Sapp as head of North American communications planning, a new position. Colletta-Sapp is based in the Mindshare Chicago office and will report to Jordan Bitterman, Mindshare North America’s Chief Strategy Officer. Most recently, she was senior vice president, co-director of brand planning at Cramer Krasselt in Chicago, where she led teams to develop brand and communications strategies for brands including Heinz, Panera Bread and Corona. Colletta-Sapp spent much of her advertising career at Leo Burnett, where she was a vice president, planning director driving growth for brands such as McDonald's, Hallmark, Kellogg's and Gap, Inc.

    Momentum Worldwide elevated Luke D'Arcy to global chief marketing officer, up from chief growth officer. In his new role, D'Arcy will partner with Jon Hamm, the agency's chief creative and innovation officer, to lead all marketing and communications for the Momentum brand. Kevin McNulty, who previously held the chief marketing officer role, was recently named president, international, responsible for the business growth, product, strategy, development and marketing across EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. D'Arcy rejoined Momentum in 2010 as director of business development for EMEA. Prior to that, he worked directly with Sir Richard Branson to launch the Virgin Racing F1 Team.

In 2010, She moved to New York to work to work as executive creative director of StrawberryFrog and was most recently creative director at Anomaly. Prior to that, Apelbaum worked on the digital accounts in the Brazilian market at agencies such as AgenciaClick, JWT and Africa.
