  • Matthew Bain, Geoff Northcott and Giles McCormack
    AKQA

    AKQApromoted Matthew Bain, Geoff Northcott and Giles McCormack to international managing directors. They will report to AKQA's founder and CEO, Ajaz Ahmed. Bain joined AKQA in 2005, and has been running the Amsterdam office for the past six years. In his new role, he will be responsible for teams in the London, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin offices. Northcott and McCormack have worked at AKQA for more than six years and will be responsible for developing client relations throughout Asia. The pair helped launch AKQA's Tokyo office and helped grow the agency's office in Portland, Ore.

  • Daniel Ryback and Rich Schneider
    Starcom

    Daniel Ryback and Rich Schneider joined Starcom USA on the agency's Novartis account. Ryback serves as vice president/director overseeing the over-the-counter (OTC) businesses and Schneider is vice president/director managing the Alcon business. Both will be based out of Starcom's New York City office and will report to Lily Chakrabarty, senior vice president/director. Ryback joins Starcom from Zenith Media where he managed the strategic approach for multimedia campaigns for the Caesars Entertainment account. He started at Zenith in 2010 where he first led the Verizon FiOS business. Before joining Zenith, Ryback spent three years as an account director at Initiative working on the Bayer Consumer Care business where he developed and implemented communications plans for brands including Midol, Citracal, Alka-Seltzer and Alka-Seltzer Plus. Most recently, Schneider led strategic planning for the Novo Nordisk Diabetes franchise and the national advertising launch of Victoza at Direct Advantage. Prior to that, he led media planning at Mediacom for Bayer Consumer Healthcare's top selling analgesics brands, including Bayer Aspirin, Aleve, Midol and Vanquish.

  • Anders Davidsson and Gustav Martner
    CP+B

    CP+B promoted Anders Davidsson to CEO of CP+B Scandinavia, which includes offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Davidsson was previously responsible for CP+B's strategy and client service departments in the region. He replaces Gustav Martner who now serves as chief innovation officer and executive chairman of CP+B Scandinavia. Prior to joining CP+B in January of 2013, Davidsson was a director and board member at the brand agency Greenspace in London, where he led work for major clients like Carlsberg and Toyota. Prior to that, he oversaw the Volvo Cars account at SCP/GREY in Gothenburg. Martner has led CP+B's Gothenburg office and business throughout Scandinavia since the summer of 2012. He was previously one of the founders of digital agency Daddy, which was bought by CP+B in 2009. Martner is also co-founder and chairman of the online media analytics company Burt and chairman of the Swedish Association of Communication Agencies.

  • Gian Carlo Lanfranco and Rolando Cordova
    Havas Worldwide

    Havas Worldwide hired Gian Carlo Lanfranco and Rolando Cordova as creative directors in its New York office. Lanfranco and Cordova join Havas Worldwide from French agency Fred & Farid Group, where they led the global Orangina account. Prior to that, Lanfranco and Cordova led the global MINI business at BSUR Amsterdam, and handled the global launch of the MINI Countryman and the MINI Coupe. The team began their careers at Saatchi & Saatchi Peru, where they were awarded the first-ever Future Lions in Cannes. They then spent two years at Saatchi & Saatchi's Singapore office, working across the Asian markets, before heading to the Netherlands, where they created global digital work for Coca-Cola at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. "Tackling the U.S. market will be a new challenge for us, and it's one we're very excited to take on," said Lanfranco.

    Pablo Del Campo was promoted to worldwide creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi. He founded Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi in Buenos Aires in 2000 and has served as regional creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America for seven years. In 2012 Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi opened in Madrid as part of a Spanish-speaking network within Saatchi & Saatchi. Del Campo will continue to be based in Argentina and remain closely involved with the agencies in Buenos Aires and Madrid that will continue to carry his name.
