    Andy Bird joined Publicis Worldwide North America as chief creative officer of the New York office. Bird currently serves as executive creative director of Publicis London. He will now report to Andrew Bruce, CEO of Publicis North America. Bird has been working on Publicis Worldwide global clients including Nestle, P&G and Cadillac, and will permanently relocate to New York in September. Prior to joining Publicis, Bird was creative director at Ogilvy&Mather, where he oversaw accounts including Europcar, Expedia, The Spectator, Castrol, World Wildlife Foundation, Kraft, Comfort and MTV. "In Andy resides a leader who cares deeply about the brand and business impact of the work. And the people whom contribute to its development," said Bruce. "His collaborative and open-minded spirit will make working alongside him incredibly inspiring and rewarding. He is the missing piece in our North America team and we're thrilled to welcome him aboard."
  • Jeremy Craigen

    Innocean Worldwide named Jeremy Craigen as global chief creative officer, a new position at the agency. Craigen will be based in the UK and start work on June 22. Prior to Innocean, Craigen was global executive creative director at DDB, focusing on the Volkswagen account. He was also a global executive committee member and chair of DDB's European creative council. Craigen joined DDB in 1990 as a junior creative director. At Innocean, he will oversee the executive creative directors in the agency's U.S., Asia and European offices. "We've been working towards building Innocean as a leading creative agency on a global scale," said Kun Hee Ahn, global CEO of Innocean Worldwide. "As the leader of our global creative department, Jeremy will be able to develop the big creative ideas to move the needle on our clients' core businesses."

    Wieden+Kennedy Portland (W+K) named Patty Brebner as director of integrated production, a new role at the agency. Brebner will oversee all production disciplines, including: broadcast, interactive, art (production), business affairs, studio and content services. Brebner joined W+K in 1996 as a broadcast producer working on Microsoft and Nike. In 2000, she was asked to serve as executive producer for JOINT, a post-production house that operated independently, yet was housed inside the W+K building. Today JOINT is a fully integrated creative post-production company, with offices in Portland and New York City, specializing in video content for TV, online, mobile and live experiences. "The demand for content, the myriad storytelling platforms, and the need to produce quickly has changed our production realities," said Mark Fitzloff, executive creative director of W+K. "What hasn't changed is our desire to tell rich stories and create effective work. We realized we needed to reframe the production department internally." Added Brebner: "I love to make things, to build things, innovate, imagine and dream big. Production is a creative discipline at its core; there have never been more ways for production to support and express a creative vision."

    Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners (RTO+P) hired Hilary Craven as chief marketing officer, a new position at the agency. She will be based in the agency's Los Angeles office and report to Steve Red, president and chief creative officer of RTO+P. In addition to working across the agency's roster of clients, Craven is also charged with developing overarching strategies for the RTO+P brand including events, branded entertainment, partnerships and products. Prior to joining RTO+P, Craven was head of experiential and head of earned media at 72andSunny, where she worked on Activision, Anheuser Busch, Google, PacSun, Samsung, Smirnoff, Sonos, Target, Tillamook and Truth. She was also responsible for launching and managing the agency's music discovery platform, as well as creating the agency's event series. "Hilary's background in experiential marketing, entertainment and partnerships will be invaluable as we continue to expand our client offerings and make RTO+P an agency of influence," said Red.

    MacLaren McCann Canada named Mary Chambers as chief strategy officer, where she will oversee planning across all disciplines and offices. In addition to leading planning, Chambers' duties will extend to MacLaren McCann's new data and analytics practice. Under her direction clients will have access to services encompassing digital strategy, analytics, content, social and branding. She joins the agency from Publicis Canada where she was vice president, national head of strategic planning. While there, Chambers led strategy for Nestle, CIBC, and Home Depot, and helped the agency win the WestJet and Rogers accounts. Prior to Publicis Canada, Chambers was a strategic planner at Young & Rubicam in Toronto. She worked on the Robax and Advil brands for Whitehall Robbins, V8 and Chunky Soup for Campbell's and Kool-Aid for Kraft, to name a few.
