  • Mandy Graham and Maria Smith
    M&C Saatchi LA
    M&C Saatchi LA hired Mandy Graham as director of strategic planning and promoted Maria Smith to creative director, up from associate creative director. Graham previously served as planning director for 180 Amsterdam, where she managed the global brand identity campaign for DHL Express and led projects for Opel, SIRE, ASICS, as well as new business assignments. Prior to that, she was vice president, planning director for Leo Burnett, where she led the Special K strategy team in the US before taking on Special K and All Bran globally. Smith has been a copywriter and associate creative director for 10 years, eight with M&C Saatchi LA, working on campaigns for San Diego Zoo, Epson, The Getty Center and Three Olives Vodka, among other brands. Prior to M&C Saatchi, Smith was a copywriter at TBWA/Chiat/Day, where she worked on Nissan, Infiniti, Sony and Energizer.
  • Devin Reiter
    CP+B Boulder
    Devin Reiter rejoined CP+B Boulder as managing director. Reiter will work with existing managing director Danielle Whalen, who has held the position since it was created in 2014. Recent new business wins created the opportunity for an additional managing director. Together, Reiter and Whalen will focus on CP+B's clients, employees, new business, culture and overall management. Reiter returns to CP+B from McCann Erickson, New York, where he was executive vice president, executive account director, overseeing the Verizon FiOS, USPS and the New York Lottery accounts. During his tenure at CP+B Boulder, Reiter led all efforts for Microsoft, most notably Windows Phones and Bing. In addition, he worked with American Express on the brand's Small Business Saturday program, Open Forum and travel segment. "Each of our 9 offices is run by entrepreneurs who have a passion for building CP+B in their markets," said Lori Senecal, global CEO o CP+B.     Campbell Ewald named Jo Shoesmith as executive creative director of the Los Angeles office. Shoesmith will lead creative for Covered California, Energy Upgrade California and Kaiser Permanente. She will report to Mark Simon, chief creative officer. Prior to Campbell Ewald, Shoesmith was senior vice president, creative director at Leo Burnett Chicago and also held positions at Leo Burnett Melbourne and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. Shoesmith has worked on brands in CPG, automotive, financial, insurance, entertainment and retail categories, such as General Motors, Mazda, Allstate, Esurance, Hallmark, Heinz, Nintendo and Black & Decker. "Jo’s years of award-winning work on some of the world’s most recognizable brands will be a strong asset to our growing Los Angeles team," said Simon. "Her breadth of experience will be instrumental in delivering creative excellence to our clients."

    Moroch Partners hired Yolanda Alarcon Cassity as chief integration officer for McDonald's account. Cassity joins the agency from KFC, where she served as global marketing, chief advertising officer. Prior to that, she worked agency-side at FBC and DIESTE on brands like Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
