  • Jennifer Gove
    Preston Kelly
    Preston Kelly is promoting Jennifer Gove to president to serve as key leader of the agency, helping to drive evolution and next-generation thinking, including fostering breakthrough and strategic brand and digital work. Among her responsibilities will be leading business development and account management.

    She replaces Chuck Kelly who previously served as both CEO and president but decided to split the role as Preston Kelly "looks at the vision and future of the agency."

    Gove has more than 20 years of agency experience in consumer and business-to-business marketing and branding.  For the past nine years, she has served as vice president and managing director of Olson, working with clients including the Minnesota Lottery, Fifth Third Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, University of Virginia, St. Luke’s Health System and Allen Edmonds.

    Previously, Gove was account director at Colle+McVoy where she worked on Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Nestle Purina and Minnesota Lottery. In addition to account management, her early career consisted of media planning, public relations and production as well.

  • Kris Shaffer and Veda Partalo
    McCann
    McCann named Kris Shaffer executive vice president, chief strategy officer of McCann Detroit and Veda Partalo as executive vice president, head of brand strategy for McCann New York.

    Shaffer most recently served as executive vice president, global chief strategy officer of Hudson Rouge in Detroit and New York, where she led the business and communication strategy across markets in the U.S., Canada, China and the Middle East. Prior to that, she was executive vice president, chief strategy officer, at Blue Hive Shanghai. She also held senior strategy roles at Team Detroit and Young & Rubicam.

    Partalo most recently ran advertising strategy at United, a branding startup with a focus on tech brands. Before that, she led strategy on multiple brands at Droga5 and also held senior positions at Fallon and 72andSunny. Partalo worked on brands including American Express, Adidas, Porsche and Cadillac.

    Joan Creative hired Dan Treichel and Dave Canning as co-executive creative directors, reporting to co-founder/chief creative officer, Jaime Robinson.

    The duo join Joan from 180 Amsterdam where they worked with clients such as Asics, DHL, PlayStation, Replay Jeans and United Colors of Benetton. Prior to that, they worked together at Barton F. Graf 9000 where they created the award winning "Climate Name Change" campaign for 350 Action.

    Before that, Canning worked at Wieden + Kennedy and Young & Rubicam, and Treichel at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Droga5.

  • Catherine Locker

    DDB North America named Catherine Locker, former group director, strategic marketing for Coca-Cola North America, as chief of staff, a new position. She will report to Wendy Clark, chief executive officer of DDB North America.

    Locker joins the agency after 10 years with Coca-Cola. While there, she led the development, expansion and implementation of key marketing capabilities. Prior to that, she was the global brand director for Glaceau International.

    "Catherine is a classically trained brand leader who has deep experience in leading and operationalizing brand initiatives across a complex multi-tiered organization on a global scale," said Clark. "Her experience and know-how make her the perfect fit to build the connective tissue between our agencies, our work and our clients.   • Adam Levite and Frank Zoller

    Industry veteran Adam Levite is joining Madwell as its new creative director and Frank Zoller as media director. In these newly created roles, Levite will work closely with chief creative officer, Chris Sojka to evolve the company's creative strategy and production. Zoller will work closely with CEO David Eisenman and is charged with putting together recommendations that maximize the effectiveness of the agency's clients investments and ensuring that media is fully integrated into the agency offering.

    Both will also play key roles in driving the company's national expansion with a new office in Colorado and west coast clientele, as well as the current roster. Levite and Zoller will both be based in Madwell's Brooklyn headquarters.

    Levite brings 20 years of diverse experience in the creative field as a designer, director and creative director. Prior to Madwell, he was at Ghost Robot and Interstate. Early in his career, Levite worked as a music video director, working with The National, Interpol, Regina Spektor and Beck.

    Zoller has been working in the media field for more than 20 years with the diverse background having worked at both media and full service agencies. Previously, he served as media director at Horizon Media, PHD and Wieden + Kennedy.
