Tim Hanlon is the Founder/CEO of The Vertere Group, LLC, a Chicago-based boutique investment advisory and strategic consulting firm focused on the intersection of media, marketing and technology. Mr. Hanlon previously created and led corporate ventures practices at agency holding firms Publicis Groupe (VivaKi/Denuo) and Interpublic Group (Mediabrands/Velociter), overseeing over 60 early-stage investments and partnerships – with nearly two dozen successful exits (and counting) since 2006. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business, and a BA from Georgetown University.
