Time Warner Inc. has appointed LISA QUIROZ, publisher of the company's People en Espanol magazine, to the newly created position of vice president, corporate responsibility at Time Warner. Quiroz will be responsible for overseeing all of Time Warner's corporate-based public service initiatives, including its activities in the areas of arts and culture, community relations, volunteerism, and literacy and education.

NANCY MORS-RAMOS has been named West coast manager; LORRI DAY has been named Midwest manager; and ELIZABETH SMYTH has been promoted to account manager. Mors-Ramos comes from Hearst, where she served as the West coast advertising sales manager for Redbook and Victoria magazines. Forbes Inc. has promoted KEVIN GENTZEL to national advertising director for Forbes magazine. Gentzel will be responsible for all Forbes magazine’s advertising sales efforts in the U.S. He joined Forbes Inc. in May 1999 as a salesperson in the New York office, and was promoted to New York regional director in November of 2000 and took over management of the entire sales staff. In May of 2002, Gentzel took over group advertising director responsibilities for the West Coast.
