    Hard Rock Cafe announced that SEAN DEE has been named vice president of marketing. For the past two years, Dee operated his own private marketing consultancy. Dee will oversee worldwide marketing for Hard Rock as well as the company's merchandise line and menu research and development team.
  • DAVID ZINMAN: Zinio Systems
    Zinio Systems, a company specializing in digital magazine production, distribution and circulation, announced several promotions and hires, including the appointment of DAVID ZINMAN as senior vice president of marketing and product management. The company also promoted PETER LONGO to president of Zinio's publishing division and JEFF BRUCE to senior vice president of worldwide sales. Additionally, Zinio named RITA BURKE as vice president of sales and DAVID ROCK as national sales director. Lastly, RICH MAGGIOTTO was promoted to vice president of business development and GRAHAM GOLDER to vice president in charge of engineering and network operations.

Lane's responsibilities at Monitor-Plus will include directing sales strategies and developing new products for competitive advertising tracking.

    Quigo Technologies has hired ALLEN BAUM as vice president of AdSonar. Baum is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of advertisers and publishers for the company's content-targeted advertising platform, AdSonar Exchange. Prior to Quigo, Baum was the director of new business development at FindWhat.com, responsible for the Private Label Business and building out the distribution network of affiliates.

  • RICHY GLASSBERG: Gemstar-TV Guide
    Gemstar-TV Guide has hired RICHY GLASSBERG as senior vice president of advertising sales for the TV Guide Television Group. Joining TV Guide from the Speed Channel, Glassberg will be responsible for the TV Guide Channel and Gemstar-TV Guide’s interactive program guide businesses for both digital cable and consumer electronics products.
