Building the Smarter Out-Box: Creativity+Data+AI

Efficiency and making more out of less will be the marketers' mantra orders in 2023. Once again, email will be called upon as the most affordable and accountable way for brands to stoke growth and deepen relationships with consumers. But will buzz-worthy "solutions" like AI-powered targeting and content creation, data consolidation into CDPs, and more integrated martech stacks address the challenges of the moment? And how do time and staff strapped email marketers respond to tighter times, increased pressure to perform and constrained budgets?

The spring edition of MediaPost's legendary EIS brings the leading magicians of messaging together to solve for 2023. Is AI all that? How will brands address consumer uncertainty with relevant messaging and stand-out creative? How can we make smarter use of the data and tech to meet this year's demands on efficiency?

We will explore:
- Messaging into Anxious Times
- Is AI After Your Job?
- Personalizing at Scale
- Turning Data Into Insights
- Turning Insights Into Segments
- Breakout Creative for the Inbox
- Building the Smarter Tech Stack
- Can ESPs and CDPs Live Happily Ever After?

For over 17 years, MediaPost's Email Insider Summit has been a unique gathering of email marketing leaders to share best practices and inspire smarter connections with consumers.

But AI intersects with messaging content in a range of ways, and no doubt can streamline productivity and personalization. But where are brands exploring the use of AI to create more targeted and relevant content? What is possible now and next year?

Activities

Thursday

Sailboat Cruise

Join fellow Summit-ers aboard the Star & Stripes sailboat as you take in the amazing beauty of the area with a refreshing beverage in tow - and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife in the area such as the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, osprey fish hawk, American bald eagle, great blue heron, West Indian manatee and more! A great way to get outdoors, take in the beauty of the Hilton Head area and network with new friends and old.

Thursday

Golf at Palmetto Dunes - Oceanfront course

Palmetto Dunes sports one of only two oceanfront holes on Hilton Head Island. It is widely renowned for its open, inviting layout and challenging yet fair play. It is the most open of the three and breezes roll off the Atlantic Ocean to constantly affect play.  Ranked one of Golfweek’s “Best Resort Courses” this course appeals to novices and experienced players alike.

Thursday

Hilton Head Beach games & Hang-out

Enjoy some calculated "down-time" with fellow Summit attendees at our Beach hang-out for the afternoon.  Refreshing drinks mixed with some fun beach games will make for great networking and conversation.

Chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas are complimentary for Omni guests, so be sure to check in at the Beach shack on the right side of the property as you walk out to the beach to get yours, if desired.  Enjoy meeting new friends and old in the perfect afternoon activity!

Friday

Golf at Palmetto Dunes - Arthur Hills course

Arthur Hills is another architect who is rightly praised for his work on Hilton Head Island. The Arthur Hills Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes is one of the most unique layouts within the entire state and has been included in the ‘Top 30 Best Courses You Can Play in South Carolina’.

Accuracy and precision will reign over distance, and this is best demonstrated by the fact that ten holes feature water hazards. It is difficult to find a more creative layout throughout the island and provides a formidable test for even the best golfers.

Friday

Kayaking tour

The calm, 11-mile lagoon at Palmetto Dunes is perfect for kayaking or canoeing. The lagoon is stocked full of fish and is home to an abundant variety of native wildlife.  An amazing way to explore the area's ecosystem and log some quality time with fellow Summiters... oh, and get a little exercise too!  A GREAT outing!

Friday

Lagoon fishing

Try some of the best island fishing on Hilton Head in the flat, calm waters of the Palmetto Dunes Resort lagoon system. A nursery to a variety of saltwater fish species, this lagoon system holds giant redfish, trout, bluefish, black drum, flounder, and even tarpon.  Led by an expert area guide the boat can accommodate up to three adult anglers.  Bragging rights will abound at the cocktail reception and dinner later that night - this is for certain!

Friday

Pool Cabana hang-out

Relax in style at the outdoor pool with the scenic Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop at Omni Hilton Head resort.  A great way to get some downtime with Summit friends old and new, while enjoying beautiful sunshine and of course some cold, refreshing drinks from the pool bar!
