Brainly - Account Executive

Brainly’s Account Executive will be responsible for developing, selling and closing brand advertisers in the US media landscape. Working directly with clients, agencies and their respective trading desks, the seller will create presentations and pitch prospects with clients, agencies and technology vendors. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales Development – 75%
    • Develop sales strategies that leverage Brainly’s audience and ad products to drive scalable business solutions
    • Directly set up sales calls, meetings and presentations to meet weekly targets
    • Manage client partnerships at all levels of agencies and clients
    • Work with sales and market leadership on sales strategy and execution 
  • Sales Planning – 15%
    • Manage personal sales process 
    • Work with sales marketing in completion of sales materials 
    • Provide market feedback on pricing, products and market trends
  • Client preparation – 10%
    • Research and prospect for new clients  
    • Work with Brainly global market leaders on identifying new business opportunities 
    • Research competitive spending, creative assets and buying trends in the US media landscape
SUCCESS FACTORS
  • Experience
    • Required
      • 5 + years in Sales & Sales Development experience
      • Proven track record of partnering with brands
      • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
      • Building scalable partnerships in key categories 
      • Understanding of ad and ed technology ecosystem  
      • Experience with direct media sales process, CRM and prospecting tools
    • Preferred
      • Experience in both startup and large company environments
