Ken Auletta

The New Yorker Annals of Communications Author

Born in Coney Island, Ken Auletta has written the Annals of Communications profiles for the New Yorker since 1992. He is the author of 11 books, five of them national bestsellers. His coverage of the media prompted him to heed the famous Watergate adage, "follow the money." This led him to the industry that funds most media and digital companies, advertising, resulting in his 12th book, "Frenemies: The Epic Disruption Of The Ad Business (And Everything Else)." Frenemies will be published June 5.
