    America Online has selected two agencies to handle its interactive account. Digitas has been awarded contact strategy, online media buying and planning and certain creative campaign responsibilities; AtmosphereBBDO has been awarded various strategic and creative campaign duties.

    Crispin Porter + Bogusky
    Crispin Porter + Bogusky was named lead creative agency by Burger King Corporation. The agency replaces Young & Rubicam.
  • Circuit City
    Sharpe Partners
    Sharpe Partners, New York, has been named Circuit City Stores, Inc.’s interactive advertising agency of record. The agency will provide strategic planning, creative development, media planning, and optimization for Circuit City’s Internet advertising programs.
  • Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Morandé
    Initiative
    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has selected Initiative to handle its media planning and buying. The multi-million dollar account will be managed out of Initiative's Atlanta office. Chilean wine producer, Morandé, also selected the agency to handle media planning and buying duties. The media mix will include local broadcast, event planning, print and outdoor.

    Experian Consumer Direct, a division of Experian, has selected Ocean Media to handle offline media planning and buying responsibilities. Experian Consumer Direct's Internet properties include FreeCreditReport.com, ConsumerInfo.com, CreditExpert.com, and CreditMatters.com.
