    Starcom North America
    Applebee's International has moved its $100-million-plus media business to Starcom North America, headquartered in Chicago. Initiative media previously handled the account. Starcom will be responsible for integrated media planning and buying strategies, plus new media opportunities.
  • Toys 'R' Us
    Y&R
    Y&R has been named lead creative agency for Toys 'R' Us. The account will be headquartered in the NY agency and include strategic planning and creative to build both the brand and in-store experience. Media will remain at Starcom and creative work is scheduled to break in the fourth quarter of 2004. Billings were not disclosed.

    Doner
    Doner has been awarded Sirius Satellite Radio's estimated $40 million account. The agency beat out BBDO North America; DDB Worldwide, Chicago; and Temerlin McClain, Dallas.
  • National Postal Forum
    Draft
    The Chicago office of Draft is creating an attendance-boosting campaign for the National Postal Forum (NPF). The NPF is an educational event and trade show targeting mail professionals in the United States. Draft will handle creative for direct mail, print, and some online work. Billings were not disclosed.
