    AKQA
    AKQA has been named lead interactive agency for Coca-Cola. The account is valued at $6 million.
  • U.S. Navy
    Campbell-Ewald
    Campbell-Ewald has won the advertising and marketing account for U.S. Navy recruiting. The agency began its initial contract with Navy in 2000 and recently completed a government-mandated review for a contract that could extend to 2010. The account is worth $91.9 million.
  • The Weinstein Company
    Deep Focus
    Deep Focus has been named online agency of record for The Weinstein Company, overseeing all online media planning and buying, creative advertising, and public relations. The Weinstein Company is the new multi-media company created by Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the founders of Miramax Films. Sources estimate the account's value between $2 and $3 million.
  • Supercuts
    StarLink Worldwide
    StarLink Worldwide has been named media agency of record for Supercuts. StarLink will handle all media strategy and investment for Supercuts' North American operations, encompassing primarily local and national television and local radio. The agency bested PHD, New York; KSL, New York; Cramer Krasselt, Chicago; and Laughlin Constable, Chicago for the win. MediaCom previously handled the account, and was not invited to participate in the review.

    Washington Mutual has trimmed the agencies competing for its $100 million account down to five. McCann Erickson was cut from contention. Still competing are TBWA/Chiat/Day, Deutsch, Leo Burnett, Publicis, and Cramer-Krasselt.

    Carat USA has been awarded the $60 million consolidated media planning and buying account for Paris-based wine and spirits marketer Pernod Ricard.

    Monster.com has placed its $1 million PR account in review. Weber Shandwick currently handles the account and will defend it.
  • Mimeo.com
    Stein Rogan + Partners
    Mimeo.com, a provider of online, on-demand digital printing, has named Stein Rogan + Partners as its agency of record. Mimeo's advertising and marketing budget for 2006 is expected to be $5 million.
  • The Cleveland Clinic
    Hill, Holliday
    The Cleveland Clinic has selected the New York office of Hill, Holliday as its agency of record. The agency will handle all advertising, media planning and buying for the hospital. The work is slated to begin running in early 2006. Spending was not released.
