    CBS has placed its estimated $130 million media buying account in review. Carat currently handles the work and will defend the account.
  • NBC Universal Television
    Fallon
    Fallon has picked up all connection planning and media planning responsibilities for NBC Universal Television, which includes NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, Bravo, USA and Sci Fi networks. The agency was also awarded media buying duties for magazine, newspaper, online and outdoor components. Incumbent Horizon Media maintains broadcast buying responsibilities. The account is estimated at $140 million.
  • Hewlett-Packard
    Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
    Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, has been tapped to create a global assignment for Hewlett-Packard. Billings are estimated at $300 million.
  • IKEA
    Deutsch
    IKEA has awarded Deutsch creative duties on its estimated $60 million account. Deutsch and IKEA first worked together in 1989, parting ways in 2000.
  • OLN and The Golf Channel
    StarLink
    StarLink Worldwide has been named media agency of record for OLN and The Golf Channel. The agency will handle all national and local media strategy and investment to promote both channels' programming lineups and viewer offerings. Combined billings are estimated at $25 million.
