There is a new entity known as the DMA Nonprofit Federation. The Direct Marketing Association has acquired the National Federation of Nonprofits. DMA president H. Robert Wientzen said at a telephone
press conference yesterday that Lee Cassidy, former executive director of the NFN, will head up the new organization and become a DMA employee. With this acquisition, NFN members become full DMA
members. Their lower NFN dues will be grand-fathered into the DMA for about the next year, Wientzen said.
