New Tracking Feature to Monitor "Call Through" for Mobile Advertising

Sonata (www.Sonata.com), the Wireless location-specific ad-serving company, now offers the capability to measure whether a user initiated a phone call after viewing a wireless data ad. The company says this metric is unique to the mobile advertising world and will become an important feature by which mobile direct marketing success will be measured.

"Call Through" for mobile advertising is similar to a "click through" for web-based banners. Additionally, the Call through can actually initiate a phone call related to the ad viewed. The ability to track that a call has been initiated without the involvement of wireless network carriers allows Sonata to offer a complete solution to its partners across all wireless network carriers.
