Young & Laramore Launches Digital Division

Young & Laramore has launched Here There Be Monsters, a new division dedicated to design and digital.

Led by Co-Managing Directors Bryan Judkins and Trevor Williams, who both maintain dual roles as associate creative directors at Indianapolis-based Y&L, Here There Be Monsters will serve both existing Y&L clients and new clients exclusive to the division.

"Here There Be Monsters refers to the warnings sea captains and mapmakers placed on old maps to denote unexplored or uncharted territories," said Judkins. "Brands are always looking to differentiate themselves and to find new ways to engage consumers, and that is truer in this current economy than ever before. This unit will help marketers guide brands through the untapped potential of creative design and digital marketing."

Paying homage to its name origins, the Web site for Here There be Monsters--www.heretherebemonsters.com--uniquely uses Google Maps technology to navigate through the regions of work. The new site showcases beautiful design work for clients including Brizo faucets and Ugly Mug Coffee Co. The one-page site also features an expiration date that marks the next date the site will re-launch with an updated look.--Tanya Irwin
