ProPly is a self-managed tool to keep costs down and give publishers full editorial control over their projects. Information overlay options, featured with the tool, are designed to promote video content and increase interaction with viewers.
Publishers can create screen overlays--or use Plymedia's customizable overlay templates--that link to additional internal content, or other Web information of interest to the viewer. In addition, analytical feedback of users' interaction on the video screen in response to various overlays is provided by Plymedia.

Many of us remember the presentations by CBS and Bravo at OMMA Video LA 2007, showing how moving flash overlay objects (like clothing and accessories) in online video became flying “Buy Now” widgets that would launch any other piece of content (print, photo, video, audio) in separate windows. Is this capability now a high-yielding commodity service?
