Drive My Ads: Auto Spots On Rise

Time Warner's Turner networks -- TNT, TBS and TruTV -- have increased automotive ad spending recently, reports Ad Age. Another broadcast network says auto marketers are making scatter purchases. More spot TV is also being purchased by car companies. Ian Beavis, executive vice president of IAG Research's automotive arm, notes that more TV ads from automakers and their regional dealer ad associations are being aired to help meet annual sales goals.
