Hybrid Site Targets Consumers, Salon Professionals

  • March 25, 2009
Pureology Serious Colour Care is launching Pureology.com sites for both consumers and professionals.

The hybrid virtual presence is part of the company's global brand re-launch taking place this month. The consumer Web site, which includes a portal to the salon professionals microsite, features new brand imagery with a dynamic home page and expandable interactive framework to supply the salon community with up-to-date resources to learn about the brand and help increase salon business.

Pureology enlisted Chicago-based interactive marketing agency Elevate Studios to create the new site. Elevate Studios' responsibilities included online strategic and creative development as well as technical coding and Web site execution.

Pureology is the second L'Oreal-owned brand that Elevate Studios has recently done interactive work for. Back in April 2008, Elevate Studios created the first ever online social networking Web site for salon haircolor professionals for another L'Oreal-owned brand, Redken's Shades EQ product line.

The Pureology.com microsite for professionals incorporates a community section where professionals can engage in dialogue regarding industry topics. Both the consumer and professional sites feature sharing capabilities via links to Facebook, Digg, Delicious, Yahoo, Stumbleupon and Mixx.--Tanya Irwin
