UK Says Gimme NetShelter

Technology media network NetShelter has announced its expansion into the United Kingdom opening a London office to be led by former Starcom Mediavest International and IDG veteran Darren Higham, who becomes the company's Director of Sales for the UK and Europe.

Higham had been International Business Director for Starcom Mediavest International in London since July 2007 with full responsibility for accounts such as Oracle, Activision, BT Global Services, RIM BlackBerry, Sun Microsystems, Avaya, and Premier Foods. He ran EMEA central HQ for these clients, responsible for overseeing strategic media planning, buying and activation. Before that, he was Starcom's group account director from August 2005 to June 2007.

Launched in May 2006, NetShelter has assembled a publisher network of more than 150 tech-focused content sites reaching more than 90 million unique visitors worldwide. NetShelter's unique tech-only vertical approach to serving advertisers and Web publishers has seen 900 percent growth over the last three years.
