The 2001 edition of NEW YORK Magazine's annual Spring Fashion issue featured 121 pages of advertisements - a 72% increase over 2000, making it NEW YORK'S largest fashion issue ever. The issue, dated February 19, featured a comprehensive preview of the season's hottest fashion trends by Fashion Director Mark Holgate. NEW YORK Magazine is published by Primedia.

Leading fashion designers and retailers who signed on for New York's Spring Fashion Issue included Barneys, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbanna, Ellen Tracy, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Christian Dior, Nicole Miller, Paul Stuart and Steve Madden. Lincoln Mercury, Cayman Islands and Regent Wall Street are among the major non-fashion industry advertisers.
