Until July 19, Facebook users can go to http://apps.facebook.com/starbucksicecream/ and fill out a coupon redeemable for a pint of any Starbucks ice cream flavor. There will be 800 coupons available at the top of each hour. The company says it will give away as many as 20,000 pints per day during the promotional period.
In September last year, Starbucks signed Unilever as exclusive licensee for the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Starbucks ice cream. The ice cream started to hit stores in spring this year. --Karl Greenberg
