Big names in New York and Philadelphia baseball are pitching the Big Chipotle Cheesesteak Sandwich for Subway franchises during the six weeks running through Aug. 16.

In the New York metro area, Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia and Mets starting pitcher Johan Santana are being featured in TV and radio commercials and in-store promotions. In Philadelphia, Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard is featured in radio spots and in-store promotions.

The multimillion-dollar campaigns were created by Source Communications, the agency that also created Subway's $5 foot-long campaign and popular regional commercials featuring Joe Torre and Willie Randolph, when they were respectively managing the Yankees and the Mets.--Karlene Lukovitz
