It may be an unexpected move from a country pop star who spends so much time singing about wearing as few clothes as possible, but Kenny Chesney has introduced a line of clothing.

Chesney -- best known for such hits as "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem," for example, and "All I Want for Christmas Is a Real Good Tan" -- has unveiled Blue Chair Bay, a line of men's hats, denim and shirts.

The official kickoff for the line happens Sept. 1, when the country legend will perform an invitation-only concert at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, timed to coincide with Magic Marketplace, an apparel trade show.

To tempt buyers, Blue Chair Bay's set-up at the show will also deliver plenty of Chesney's laid-back vibe -- including a vintage Airstream trailer, as well as Happy Hour sponsored by Corona, which is also a Chesney tour sponsor.

The Blue Chair Bay line of clothing is mid-priced, ranging from $35 for a t-shirt to $72 for khakis, and will also include khakis, shorts and button-down shirts "with the feel of that shirt that you've had forever," the company says in its release. "Old Blue Chair" is the title of a Chesney song about his favorite spot in the Caribbean.

While Chesney's style may be his own -- in "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," for example, he boasts about the virtue of a farmer's tan -- he's hardly the first country singer to sell clothing. Veteran Toby Keith announced a line of men's clothing earlier this year, and newcomer Taylor Swift has a line of LEI dresses available at Wal-Mart Stores.
