British Prime Minister Gordon Brown welcomed the creator of the World Wide Web to 10 Downing Street on Tuesday morning. No, not Al Gore. Sir Tim Berners-Lee, along with Professor of Artificial
Intelligence at the University of Southampton, Nigel, both of whom have been asked to help Brown achieve his stated goal of harnessing the Web to make Government more accessible to the public. Similar
to the one introduced by the Obama administration, Berners-Lee apparently envisions a single online access point to Government information.
