Carey Witmer has been promoted to vice president/publisher of
Family Circle, which has a circulation of 3.8 million. The magazine has gained market share over 10 consecutive months, and by the
end of calendar 2009 will have achieved the No. 1 position among the women's lifestyle/service set, reports the company. Prior to joining
Family Circle, Witmer served as the associate
publisher of
Better Homes & Gardens.
