  • October 7, 2009
Internet phone service Skype has selected agencies Wolff Olins, TBWA MediaArts London and Rapp to handle its $88 million global advertising account.

According to Brand Republic, TBWAMedia Arts will oversee the brand's above-the-line advertising business, Rapp will handle CRM and eCRM, as well as the brand's creative campaigns in the U.S., and Wolff Olins will create Skype's global strategic branding.

The three agencies were chosen after a review process begun in July, led by AAR and Neil Stevens, the vice president and general manager of Skype's consumer business. Luxembourg-based Skype will continue working with incumbent agency Albion until year's end. --Mark Walsh
