AmericanGreetings.com soared 66% to 1.4 million visitors and traffic to Hallmark.com rose 65% to 640,000 unique visitors. Traffic to Egreetings.com jumped 43% to 872,000 unique visitors.
"Greeting card sites continue to evolve from their earliest set of product offerings, which were based on the ease of sending virtual greetings," said Allen Weiner, VP of analytical services at NetRatings. "Today, companies such as Blue Mountain and Hallmark use their card sites as gift centers and offer a wide range of services that include holiday reminder services and invitations."
