Best Buy Mobile is preselling the Droid, Motorola's long-awaited smartphone, which arrives in stores Nov. 6. Those who buy the new phone through Best Buy will get an instant rebate applied at the
point of purchase, so the phone sells for $199.99 with two-year activation, rather than having to wait for the mail-in rebate. The Droid is the first Verizon device to run on Google's Android
operating platform, featuring Google Maps Navigation, search functions and integrated Gmail.
