"Los Simuladores" (The Pretenders), the Mexican TV series produced by Sony Pictures Television, debuts in the U.S. Nov. 15 on Cinelatino, a premium Spanish-language movie channel. Shot in HD, the show
is based on a popular Argentine series, which centers on the adventures of four operatives, trained to carry out sting operations, who use their skills to solve human-interest conflicts. Starring
prominent Mexican actors, "Los Simuladores" is the second premium series to air on Cinelatino; "Tiempo Final" launched in spring of this year. Cinelatino claims more than 3.6 million subscribers on
major cable, satellite and telephony providers throughout North America.
