Disney Channel Nominated

The Humanitas Prize Organization honored writers for three Disney Channel programs with nominations for its prestigious Humanitas Prize, an award that annually honors writers in the entertainment industry whose work enriches and enlightens their audiences. Daryl Nickens, writer of the "Lost In Found" episode of the popular Disney Channel original series "The Famous Jett Jackson," and Joel Kauffmann and Donald Yost, writers of Disney Channel's original movie "Miracle in Lane 2," were nominated in the Children's Live Action Category, while Betty Birney was nominated in the Children's Animation category for her work on an episode of the "Playhouse Disney" series "Madeline."
