Transmission service chain AAMCO is expanding its marketing campaign an iPhone application called iGAAUGE that has diagnostic tools, maintenance information and real-time data. The app provides a
car's maintenance schedule, troubleshoots car issues, provides traffic updates, locates the nearest gas station, contacts roadside assistance and connects users to the nearest AAMCO.
The
program will also offer AAMCO offers and coupons. The Horsham, Penn.-based company, with some 900 automotive centers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico is offering the app on iTunes App Store free.
The company will offer a version of iGAAUGE for the Android will be released before the end of the year.--Karl Greenberg
