Macy's is partnering with Italy's Luxottica Group to open Sunglass Hut stores in 430 Macy's.

The retailer already operates 240 Sunglass Hut units, and says that it should reach its expected rollout of 670 stores by the spring of 2011.

Macy's, which will have exclusive U.S. department store rights to the brand, says the deal will allow it "to offer a wider choice of styles, supported by the high level of service associated with Macy's."

Separately, the Cincinnati-based retailer says its same-store sales fell 6.1% in November. --Sarah Mahoney
