Apple Courts CBS, Disney For Online TV Subs

Per The Wall Street Journal, Apple is courting at least two television networks, CBS and Disney, to join in its initiative to offer online TV subscriptions. Apple would charge customers a monthly fee for access to shows from different networks. The newspaper says that the plan has potential to alter the economics of the TV business, by undermining the channel bundling that is the lifeblood of cable, satellite and telecommunications companies.
