'Boston Globe' Revamps Exec Suite

The Boston Globe has announced several new appointments, promotions and revamped duties among executives, reports Editor & Publisher. Lisa DeSisto has been named chief advertising officer, overseeing all print and digital advertising, and general manager of Boston.com. Robert Powers, currently vice president/marketing and communications, also will temporarily oversee advertising sales development, while circulation director Peter Doucette has been promoted to executive director of circulation sales, adding circulation customer service to his current responsibilities. CFO Christopher Pircio will also serve as vice president of operations.
