NYT To Replace Cohen On Company Board

New York Times Co. said Daniel Cohen, a member of newspaper publisher's Ochs-Sulzberger family, won't seek re-election to the company's board, but will continue as a director until April. The trustees of the Ochs-Sulzberger family trust, which maintain a right to elect 70% of the board, said they plan to advise a replacement nominee to be elected in place of Cohen who is also a trustee. Cohen, who was elected to serve on the board in 2007, has held various positions at the New York Times over 16 years.
