  • January 12, 2010
Good things do seem to come in little blue boxes: Tiffany & Co. says sales sparkled during its two-month holiday period, jumping 17% to $799.1 million in the holiday period. Sales gained in all of its geographical regions, and rose 20% at its New York flagship.

"We experienced growth across a wide range of jewelry categories and price points," Tiffany execs say in its release. "Overall, these better-than-expected sales results are, in turn, leading us to again increase our sales and earnings outlooks for the year ending Jan. 31."--Sarah Mahoney
