BAR Program Is A GEM

Catalina Marketing Corporation, and its research division, Alliance Research, Inc., are the recipients of the 2001 Global Electronic Marketing (GEM) Award for the Best Supporting Electronic Marketing Vendor category. The award recognized the Behavior Activated Research (BAR) program as the best electronic marketing program in the category. The BAR product identifies consumers' actual purchase behavior over time and solicits their input through an invitation delivered via the Catalina Marketing Network printer. This is the third time in five years that Catalina Marketing has received the GEM Award.
