Comcast Taps Neil Smit For CEO

Comcast Corp. has named Neil Smit, formerly CEO at Charter Communications, president of the company.

In this role, he will report to Comcast's chief operating officer, Steve Burke, and have responsibility for all business aspects of the company's cable operations.--Aaron Baar

    I'm confused. Is he CEO, reporting to a COO? I guess you mean president, reporting to the COO, who I should imagine reports to the CEO.
